How do you plan the perfect road trip?

Perfect road trip? Look, me and my husband planned our first road trip together — and honestly, with us, something was bound to go completely off track.

As brand-new car owners with barely any driving experience, we somehow convinced ourselves that driving through hills was a great idea. Pure confidence. Zero experience. Just vibes.

What followed was mountain roads that looked slightly illegal, Google Maps abandoning us emotionally, traffic chaos, accidental forest adventures, fog, panic, emotional support snacks, and multiple moments of questioning every decision that brought us there.

Also, people say driving is a one-person job.

We would just like to say:
absolutely not.

Because throughout this entire trip, we made sure driving became a full two-person responsibility.

Honestly, I don’t know what kind of “perfect road trips” people keep talking about.

All I can offer are perfectly chaotic stories.

And if you want to read the full chaos, the link’s below.
